I'm sure you agree an event of this kind is long overdue and I can't wait to meet you all there! So far 2008 has been a busy year for us. Freddie continues to impress, with his lovely paces, a good jump and perfect disposition everyone loves him and he knows it, playing to his audience and loving all the attention, just wait till you meet him in October, you'll see he was truly born for the stage! | |
Last autumn we added a new member to the Horses Inside Out Team. Langaller Ash Combe, better known as Henry! Henry is a five year old who made his demonstration debut one freezing evening in February at Hartpury. He has a lot to learn and at the moment only does static demonstrations, as he found the audience rather scary! I might bring him to the show in October, although it's such a big event it might be too much for him this year!
Horses inside out originally came about when I realised through treating horses in my capacity as a Sports and Remedial therapist, if people really understand how their horse ‘works' from an anatomical point of view, a lot of muscular problems, training mistakes and heart ache could be avoided.
I am currently putting together a brand new series of demonstrations for the Holistic Horse Show, which have never been seen before. They will start with a quick canter through your horse's anatomy, with the second part explaining how training, tack and rider all affect how your horse can move and perform.
Over the 3 days of the show, I'll be doing plenty of shopping in the Holistic Horse Shopping Mall, and you will also find me on the Verm-X Ask The Expert Stand where I will be happy to answer your questions relating to physiology and anatomy, so do make a note if anything is puzzling you about any aspects of your horse's musculoskeletal system, whether it's related to training, recovering from injury or regarding regular muscular maintenance, and I'll answer your questions at show.
