| Man in court over indecent act on horse A MAN has been accused of committing a lewd act on a horse in front of two nine-year-old girls. Fallon Thomson, 45, of Bingham Way, Edinburgh, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday for a Hearing of Fact to determine the truth of the accusations, after it was determined he was mentally unfit to stand trial.

The charges against him relate to an incident in August last year, at stables at the Drum Estate, Drum Street, Edinburgh, where he is said to have committed lewd, indecent and libidinous behaviour towards the two girls, who cannot be identified for legal reasons.
Both girls later identified Thomson in a video ID parade.
The hearing before Sheriff Morrison yesterday heard evidence from one of the girls, now aged ten, via video-link.
