The Pony Club's Annual Conference Heads North

The Pony Club's Annual Conference Heads North

The Pony Club's Annual Conference is heading North in 2010, and is being held on March 3rd at York Racecourse.

As always there is a jam packed line up for the day with talks on essential Pony Club topics for the year, such as finance and fundraising. Training, as the lynchpin of Pony Club, is also on the agenda along with guest speakers that include Peter Webbon, Chief Executive of the Animal Health Trust (AHT), Clive Hetherington, Director of the exciting Festival of the Horse event and Henry Symington, Eventing commentator and controller. The award for ‘Secretary of the Year' will also be presented.

Following demand there is also an extended time for questions and answers this year "We have made more time to listen to our volunteers at the Conference following feedback they gave us last year" commented Judy Edwards, Chief Executive of The Pony Club.

"The Annual Conference is a really important day in our calendar, as we get to meet around 500 of our volunteers and hear their thoughts on what we can do to help them, and therefore move The Pony Club forwards".

The day will be expertly compered by Mike Tucker and those attending will also have chance to meet all The Pony Club's valued sponsors and browse both sponsor tradestands and The Pony Club's wide range of merchandise.

The Annual Conference is open to both Pony Club Branch and Centre Officials, and has some late spaces still available. If you would like to attend please contact Sarah Baker at The Pony Club.
