| BHS members contest Cross-Country Championships at Eland Lodge The final of the BHS Cross-Country Championships, generously sponsored for the eighth year by South Essex Insurance Brokers, takes place on 27 September at Eland Lodge Equestrian Centre, Derbyshire. Hundreds of BHS Gold members will travel from all over the country, with each rider eager to secure one of the prestigious titles on offer. The three Championship classes, Novice, Pairs (both over 2' 9" course) and Open (3' 3") are the climax to a year of qualifying events. |  |
Sarah Phillips, Senior Executive BHS Competitions, said: "We are delighted that this series has once again been so well supported, it has become a very popular fixture in the equestrian calendar. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to Eland Lodge for an exciting and hard fought competition."
Spectator entry at the Finals is free, and the venue can be found just off the A515 between Lichfield and Derby, with easy access from all directions. The natural amphitheatre and attractive layout at Eland Lodge provide superb spectator viewing - so come along and support the BHS members battling it out to be National Champions!
