Dear Voices for Horses,
Please ensure that the RSPCA take action on this case, in all cases of animal cruelty, there are rarely any real punishing actions that take place, a slap on the wrist, ban from keeping for 2 to 3 years, small fine, it needs to be more severe!
This sort of negligence and suffering cannot be allowed to continue, those concerned should never be able to keep or trade in any animals again and should pay hefty fines or even serve time in prison. To read about the state of those horses made me sick to my stomach, horses tethered in cages standing on or amongst their dead friends, they are herd animals and the mental scares of this situation will be a long time healing if ever. Its disgusting and whoever is responsible deserves to be punished accordingly and never be allowed to keep animals again.
